Chiropractors are licensed in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. A rigorous course of study is necessary to receive a degree of Doctor of Chiropractic (DC). Doctors of Chiropractic have five or more years of graduate level college training including more than 4000 hours of subjects such as anatomy, physiology, neurology, orthopedics, kinesiolgy, diagnostics and pathology, equivalent to the training that traditional (allopathic) doctors receive.
